Design + Animation

Bachelors in Fine Arts and Illustration, Carmen jumped into pre-production work as a Storyboard Artist creating her first :30 second animated cel spot within 6 months on the job. Never animating more than a flip book, 900 drawings later got her hooked on creating art and making it move. Drawing and designing quickly provided her creative opportunities to animate for HBO, McDonald's, MTV, Nickelodeon, National Geographic and many more. From storyboarding to animatics, conceptual development to design, artist to animator- there is no line defining what she can bring to the table. Each project is approached as a team effort where the client vision and many possibilities wrap together. When she is not busy working she likes to juggle teenage daughters, dogs and sharp swords for fun.
